Gospel minister Akua Emelia has told the story behind her new hit single, “fa me sie.”
In a chat with Reverend Kwamena Idan, Emelia Okrah known in showbiz circles as Akua Emelia stated that the song tells what she’s been through and a plea to God.
“I’ve been through a lot and due to which I asked God why those things happened. Through that God said he was hiding me, and he would lift me at the right time,” she said.
Akua Emelia added that, “out of all the songs I had recorded, my manager Kwesi Ernest picked, ‘fa me sie’ as well as my husband. So, I believed that it was the right time to release it.”
Also, “these are hard times. However God has hidden us and protected us from all of it especially ‘in-corona-times’,” she mentioned.
