Asa Bone: I Didn’t Sample Daddy Lumba’s Song – Lord Paper

Ghanaian afrobeats and hip hop artiste Michael Takyi-Frimpong known in showbiz cycles as Lord Paper has disclosed that his current song “Asa Bone” featuring Bosom Pyung was inspired by Daddy Lumba but he didn’t sample Daddy Lumba’s song.

Lord Paper made this statement in an interview with Amansan Krakye on the celebrity interview on Central Dryve on GBC Radio Central in Cape Coast.

According to the Asa Bone crooner, the song was never sampled from a song composed by Daddy Lumba titled Ankwanoma but it was just mere inspiration.

“I am clearing the airwaves today. We all get inspired by different things in life and “Asa Bone” was just inspired by Dada Lumba and it was not a sampled song like it’s been described”, he said.

Lord Paper added that he released Asa Bone to revive the high life tune that has been overtaken by reggae, dancehall, afrobeats, hip hop and the other genres we have adopted.
