National Chief Imam of Ghana, Sheik Usman Nuhu Sharubutu will for the first time hold a virtual Eid-ul-fitr due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The event which will take place at Ghana Broadcasting Corporation House on Sunday May 24, 2019 at 9:00 am will have President Akufo-Addo and his Vice Dr Mahamudu Bawumia as well as some Muslim leaders in attendance.
The Chief Imam is, therefore, advising all Muslims across the country to celebrate the day with their families at home by following him on the state broadcaster.
