Ghanaian record producer and sound engineer Nana Yaw Nkrumah known in showbiz as Dr. Ray Beat has disclosed that he does production on credit for artists who are trustworthy.
Dr Ray disclosed this in an interview with Amansan Krakye on GBC Radio Central when he was asked about the financial stand of production in this ongoing pandemic.
According to Dr Ray Beatz, he does credit production for A class artists more because he needs them and they also need him and most often he goes into that agreement with them because they are top stars because when they promote their songs they also promote him and he makes them understand the details of the contract.
He added that even if the songs are uploaded on digital platforms he has a share in it and this is done based on mutual understanding and some other artistes prefer to pay before the production of the song.
Currently the camp of Dr. Ray Beatz has released a new banger titled 1997 featuring Yaa Pono which is available on all digital platforms.
