Coronavirus: John Mahama Would Have Given Free Electricity If He Is Still President – Sammy Gyamfi

Director of Communications for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sammy Gyamfi has stated emphatically that former president John Dramani Mahama would have supplied free electricity to Ghanaians instead of free water supply if he is still in power.

Sammy Gyamfi made this comment after the President Nana Akuffo Addo’s fifth nation’s address on the updates and measures to handle the Coronavirus pandemic.

“Nana let me, first of all, reiterate the recommendation for free electricity to be provided for Ghanaians because that, for the NDC, especially HE John Dramani Mahama, is non-negotiable. I can tell you unequivocally that if president John Dramani Mahama was president of the Republic of Ghana would have been enjoying free electricity by now,” he stated.

“It should be given, there should not be any argument about it because people are living the house, they are consuming more electricity yet they are not working. How do they pay for the electricity ? These are not normal times”, Sammy Gyamfi added.
