Awal Sulemana, the guy who invaded the pitch when Ghana Black Stars were playing against South Africa in the 2021 AFCON qualifier has disclosed that he only wanted to take a selfie with Thomas Partey.
Awal Sulemana a Cape Coast-based nurse, entered the pitch at the 74th minute and the match was halted for a while.
Narrating his story, he said;
“I heard they (Black Stars) will be stopping at Mankessim, but I knew the only opportunity I had to take a picture with Thomas Partey was on the field, that is why I rushed there”.
