I Put Pressure On Myself After Ebony’s Demise – Wendy Shay Reveals

Ghanaian singer, Wendy Shay has disclosed that after the death of her colleague (Ebony), she put a lot of pressure on herself to achieve success.

She suffered the wrath of Ghanaians because fans of Ebony thought Wendy was a replacement.
According to Wendy Shay, she turned it into a challenge to win the love of Ghanaians.

In a chat with Amansan Krakye, the ‘emergency’ hit maker said; “it was not a burden, but I put pressure on myself because I’m a perfectionist. Looking at the legacy Ebony left behind, I knew that my gift would come to light at the right time.”

Time, according to Wendy, was her all she needed to exhibit her talent.

“I knew time would be a tool to use in showcasing my talent and Ghanaians will recognize my hard work and perseverance. So, it was a challenge for me to showcase my God-given talent,” she explained on GBC Radio Central as monitored by wysepromotions.com.

Rufftown Records in collaboration with Kri8 concept is set to stage a pay-per view concert dubbed, ‘survival concert’ on July 31, 2020. For more information contact 0553075359.
