NDC Female Members Of Parliament Don’t Have Respect For Women – Ursula Owusu

Ghanaian Minister of Communications Madam Ursula Owusu has revealed that the female members of parliament for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have no respect for women.

Ursula Owusu disclosed this in an interview on Wontumi TV’s Wontumi Morning show in accordance with the apology requested by the current running mate of the NDC.

According to the Minister of Communications she stated that the NDC have on many occasions insulted the Women’s movement with their utterances and actions and especially their women in parliament have no respect whatsoever.

She added that when the NDC MP’s boycotted the swearing in of Lydia Alhassan as incumbent member of parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon among them was a woman who took over from her husband who died before the elections in 2016.

Madam Ursula Owusu made it clear and concise that the NDC have disrespected the women’s movement and when she was assaulted nobody took to her defence but rather was criticized and questioned about the incident.
