National Health Insurance Authority has commended Dr. Ohene Kwame Frimpong through his Salt Media GH Foundation initiative for registering inhabitants of Asante Akim North unto the National Health insurance policy.
The enrollment and renewal of the National Health Insurance saw a total number of 788 inhabitants taking part in the exercise of which all costs were borne by the foundation headed by Dr. Ohene Kwame Frimpong.
The exercise started with all inhabitants of Asante Akim North and its environs intending to ease the pressure they go through in traveling to Konongo to register their membership with the National Health Insurance. The two-day exercise took place on the 20th and 21st of April, 2022 at the forecourt of Salt FM Agogo.
In a communique released by the National Health Insurance Authority Asante Akim, North District thanked Salt media GH Foundation and Dr. Charles Ohene Kwame Frimpong for the registration and renewal exercise and his eminence contribution to making it successful and also to the staff and other senior officers who regulated a smooth registration and renewal process during the two-day program.
Ohene Kwame Frimpong is a Ghanaian investor who owns and runs the SALT Media Group — owners of SALT 95.9 FM in Agogo in the Ashanti Region, May Day Entertainment, and Saltfmonline.com. He also runs a real estate business, owns KLF Forex Bureau at Spintex in Accra, and an African Restaurant in Chicago, USA.
He also owns the Smart Group of Companies, which has the Smart Hygiene Sanitizer as one of its flagship products. Ohene Kwame Frimpong is the Executive Chairman of Wealthbridge Limited, the owner of the famous Kub’s Original Bofrot Puff Puff where he is the majority shareholder.
