The organizers of the Rising Stars Music Awards (RISMA) have released the nominees ahead of the event’s inaugural edition.
More than 980 Fast rising musicians submitted their works to stand a chance of being nominated, and about 200 have made it into the RISMAs’ 25 categories.
“It’s our vision that this will be a platform to propel some up-and-coming artists into the mainstream to attain the same recognition that our top musicians receive,” this was according to the CEO of 3D Events Management, Mr. Edmund O. Acheampong.
Launched last year, the awards seek to foster the development of upcoming Ghanaian artistes by rewarding those who have excelled in the gospel, hiplife, highlife, dancehall, reggae, Afropop and traditional music
The general public has until 10th November 2021 to vote for their favorite acts. The date and venue for the awards ceremony will be announced at a later date.
