The prestigious and glamorous 2 2020 Humanitarian Awards Ghana announced its winners on Saturday, 23 October at the Labadi Beach Hotel, Accra.
The awards ceremony aims at identifying, recognizing and Award extraordinary individuals and groups who are positively impacting the lives of people, nature and society in Ghana and beyond.
Believing that in putting the spotlight on these individuals and non-profit organisations it will not only celebrate them but also build a strong platform for them by giving a voice and opportunities whilst building a positive attitude in making this world a better place.
Stacy Amoateng was presented with a plaque “for the distinguished and exceptional achievements towards improving the lives of others and human welfare.”
Anastasia Manuela Amoateng known in showbiz circles as Stacy Amoateng’s interest in media started at a young age at school and church. She started event organizing in 1998 with a group of friends. 1n 1999 she organized her first funded beauty pageant in Sunyani, Miss Millennium Ahourfe to usher in the new millennium.
She started professional presenting in 2002 on Tv3 talk show, Talk Ghana. From 2003, she presented the award winning entertainment show Music Music for ten years.
Stacy has wonderful communication skills and can tickle humor from guests. She manned the Music to Best Entertainment program for six years. She is currently host and producer of award-winning television talk Show Restoration With Stacy which is a syndicated content. She is the founder of Showbiz Honors, an honorary award scheme for celebrities who give back to society. She is a speaker who has spoken at numerous events for women and the youth.
She is founder of the LUV PROJECT, a domestic violence and abuse campaign to help women and children who are being abused.
She is champion of a number of charitable causes which include Cervical Cancer Advocacy, Reading Ambassador, Youth to Lead to Lead, Back to School Campaign, Autism Awareness among others.
