We Are Sorry – NDC Apologizes To The Media

Members of the national Democratic Congress together with their leadership and their flag bearer, John Dramani Mahama do not seem to sleep on their concerns relating to the final 2020 presidential and parliamentary election results.

After they they had raised numerous concerns prior to the actual elections and threatening not to accept the results of a flawed elections, they have indeed stood to their words by openly rejecting the final declaration as it was done by the chairperson of the Electoral Commission, Madam Jean Adukwei Mensah to pronounce president Akufo Addo as the president elect.

Aside accusing the Electoral commission of lying in bed with the ruling New patriotic party, the NDC also think the various media houses danced to the tune of the Electoral Commission and the NPP by projecting the flawed results as certified by them to create the impression that the NPP was indeed leading the polls. They created some sort of hatred between the opposition NDC and some famous media houses in the country.

But today during their press briefing, the national communication director of the NDC has openly apologized to the various media houses that had received all kinds of verbal attacks from both the NDC leadership and their aggrieved supporters.

“We the NDC believe the media has been our partners for a long time and we can’t allow this issue to destroy our long standing cordial relationship. We are sorry for every attacks you the media has suffered from the NDC, let’s all forgive ourselves so that we can work together to achieve the justice our country deserves”, he noted.

In addition, Sammy Gyamfi revealed the NDC will not rest until justice prevails.

Do you think Sammy Gyamfi and his NDC has realized they can’t win this battle against the EC alone unless they have the media on their side?
