Actress and entrepreneur Yvonne Nelson has claimed that the transition from CDs and DVD to digital media affected the Ghanaian movie industry negatively.
Speaking in an interview with Dr Cann on Happy FM’s Showbiz Xtra she stated that, CD and DVD transition had not helped the movie industry but rather it has killed the industry.
“When we changed from DVD to digital media, it has not affected the movie industry positively but rather killed the industry hands down. The actors and everyone in the movie industry are suffering and there is nothing good going on in the movie industry”, she lamented.
Yvonne Nelson is currently premiering her new movie titled “Fix Us” on the 6th of December at the Silverbird cinemas.
