Recently, Ghanaian filmmaker Mclord Ice Impraim and renowned producer and the chairman of the Film Directors Guild of Ghana for Greater Accra Region, Haruna Seidu Zoree embarked on an inspiring journey across Europe, attending film workshops, exhibitions, and engaging in fruitful conversations with fellow Ghanaian filmmakers and actors based in Europe. Supported by the National Film Authority (NFA), their trip was not only an opportunity to learn new skills on an international stage but also a chance to lay the groundwork for potential collaborations and workshops to uplift the Ghanaian film industry.
Mclord Ice Impraim and Haruna Seidu Zoree’s European adventure took them to various mesmerizing cities, including Paris, Brussels, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Freiburg, and Berlin. Each city offered a unique blend of culture, art, and creativity, serving as a constant source of inspiration for these talented filmmakers.
One of the highlights of their journey was attending the International Broadcasting Convention (IBC) in Amsterdam, known as the biggest event of its kind. This exhibition provided a platform for them to showcase their work and connect with industry professionals from around the world. During their trip, Mclord Ice and Haruna Seidu also had the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations with other Ghanaian filmmakers and actors based in Europe.
