Biography Of Adjoa Praiz, The Sensational Christian Musician

Born Olivia Adjoa Acheampong and mostly known in the music scene as Adjoa Praiz. She was born on 15th December, 1975 at Koforidua Hospital. Both parents are Mr. Wilson Ntim Acheampong and Madam Felicia Tenkoramah Addae from Kwahu- Pepease. She has a beautiful daughter by the name of Akosua Essilfie-Yeboah.

Adjoa started her basic school Education at Komenda College Practice School (primary) and continued at Komenda Experimental JHS ( no longer in existence because it’s been turned into a senior high school) before getting to Wesley Girls High School, Cape Coast. She attained her first degree and masters at the University of Cape Coast. (Masters Degree) in Bilingual Translation (French and English).

Adjoa did her National service at University Practice Senior High School. She has been employed as a Newscaster at Coastal TV, Cape Coast, Presenter at Cafdil TV, Cape Coast.

She is currently the Country Manager for Tobinco Pharmaceuticals Mali.

She was an English tutor at Wesley Girls High School, Volunteer Missionary at Excellent Youth Outreach(EYO).
She enjoys the following as her hobbies; swimming, singing, reading, movies, traveling, sports and games, sharing the gospel (evangelism).

Adjoa Praiz has always acknowledged Pastor & Mrs. John Gordon Egyir Coffee ( Excellent Youth Outreach(EYO), and Pastor & Mrs. Ray Mensah (One Way Africa) for their contribution to her life and career till now.

Through her voluntary programs, she has traveled to many countries including South Sudan, Uganda, Ethiopia, Côte d’Ivoire, Benin, Mali, etc to impact positively into the growing generation.
Awards and honors to her credit are many including Central Music Awards Gospel Song of the Year 2021 and Gospel Artiste of the Year 2022. And also three nominations for CEBA 22

Special achievements;
She is the founder of Praiz Aid Foundation through which charity programs like “feed my lamb 2018 and )d) edzidzi 2019 ( Christmas lunch organized for the Kayayos at Agbogbloshie Market.
Other charity activities like a cooking competition at Kakumdo. A donation of Christmas lunch, clothes, shoes, stationery at Tema station for kayayos. Organizing Bible lessons for children at Kakumdo (2018, 2019) and Brofoyedur (2022).

Adjoa Praiz is an inspirational woman with many positive gifts blessing the African youth with them. She is currently one of the fastest-rising Christian musicians in Africa.
