Reggae and Afro pop singer Akese Brempong has been nominated for the gospel artiste of the year for the second time at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
Akese Brempong shares this category with well deserved gospel acts like Joe Mettle, Joyce Blessing, Celestine Donkor, Diana Hamilton and MOG Music.
Akese Brempong over the years has worked tirelessly through releasing an entire album dubbed “Heal The Land” that has amazing and soul touching songs like “Crazy Love” Afropop remix and Wonderful.
Akesse has mounted stages in the gospel domain both locally and internationally hence accelerating his fanbase to a larger number and gaining global recognition.
The gospel artiste of the year nomination this year will be second time he is being nominated in such a category at the VGMAs.
