Gospel minstrel, Celestine Donkor for the first time has won a Vodafone Ghana Music Award.
This was the 21st edition of the awards ceremony held at the new dome, grand finale. The category was the female vocalist of the year with contenders; Adina, Efya, Efe Grace, Lamisi, and Becca.
Celestine Donkor has been nominated on several occasions but lost to contenders. This time, however she won.
Her acceptance speech was full of praise to God and her husband and indicated that God’s time is the best.
Congrats to Celestine Donkor on her first VGMA win.
