Ghanaian rapper, Guru has said that there is no way the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) will be credible when he’s recognized and given the ultimate award; Artiste of the year.
In a Twitter post, Maradona Yeboah Agyei (Guru) who was nominated but did not win tweeted that “Ghana Music Awards go be credible the day a go win Artiste of the year.”
Guru who has won only one VGMA since the inception of his career believes that the award scheme is far from being credible.
Kuami Eugene however, was crowned Artiste of the year at the just ended VGMA. This came as a surprise to many Ghanaians and industry players.
